Jenny is home from college (Harding University) for a week. Then, she is off to Wichita where she will be a youth ministry intern for the summer. She needs a book for a middle and high school girl's class. We are in my office now looking at books and discussing possibilities, but unfortunately, I don't have a lot of books that fit her need! She doesn't want one that deals with issues of dating, since that has been covered. She is looking for something dealing with spiritual growth.

I know a lot of you out there teach classes like this, and Jenny is open to your suggestions if you would make some!
Thanks,
WB

"The life you've always wanted" would be perfect, I'm going to use it in Cheyenne!
It depends whether it needs to be specifically aimed at teens. My favorite spiritual devlopment book of all time is _Stop the Runaway Conversation_ by Michael Sedler. This is a priceless work that I think everyone should read, and it would be an excellent topic for teens. But it's not designed to look "teeny," so I don't know if that would be an impediment.
I really liked the book, "hope for the flowers" by trina paulus. I received it when I was a teenager from a friend and I read it over and over. I even gave it to my teenagers to read and they liked it. Just a thought.
How about "Girl Talk" by Carolyn Mahaney and Nicole Whitacre. It's meant for mothers/daughters but can easily be used for a class. Go to sovereigngracestore.com and search for title or author. Have fun!
